What started as a suburban backyard hobby and a love for gardening has grown into something bigger.

Today, our backyard “microfarm” in western Massachusetts is home to fresh-cut flowers, seasonal plant starts, and a growing collection of dahlias. We have 60 named varieties in 2026 and counting (yes, I’m a little dahlia-obsessed).

While our farm is our backyard and not open for public visits at this time, we do offer local pickup and will be popping up at select farmers markets this season. We plan to offer dahlia tubers for shipping in spring of 2027.

At the heart of it all, Slice of Pie Homestead is about sharing the joy of flowers, connecting with our community, and helping others discover the magic of growing, whether that’s through a bouquet, a tuber, or a plant you can make your own!
